thought of some more:

	a few of the more useful x clients, e.g. xterm and resize

	make TC option slots work, on the flamingo and pelican
	families; right now, i've no reason to believe they do
	(and several good reasons not to 8-).

i thought of more than that, but have now forgotten them.  8-)
