Subject: Console Video corrupt

On running the install kernel (1.6.1, I think) on my Kinetic (I'm using
!NetBSD, not the new boot32-thing but for installation that doesn't make a
difference, right?), everything loads, but the video memory addressing
must just be slightly unaligned, because the characters are slightly
distorted by either (a) missing columns, (b) general corruption, or (c)
wrapping (ie. the character begins in the centre column of it's 'box' and
wraps right around). Makes for a fiddly installation as I have to guess
what's onscreen (NetBSD manual was helpful for this, but I'd prefer to
actually see what's going on...)
Anyone got a fix?
