You may want to raise a PR against the MI SCSI code. I would think there
is some hope of the poll check being disabled.

If only I could figure out why the connect32 wasn't working all the SCSI
drivers would be in a working (if somewhat slow) state. Hopefully we could 
then tempt a user of these cards into polishing up the drivers. :-) I 
have found some MI code in the tree which may be of use and I'll at least take 
a first stab at making it attach to Cumana and Connect32 podules. I think it
could be used with the Powertec card as well.
