I've just built it on NetBSD-6.99.16/amd64 and started it in a vnc session.

It wrote
Xlib:  extension "RANDR" missing on display ":1".

(vimprobable2:28016): libsoup-WARNING **: Could not set SSL credentials from 
'/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt': Failed to open file 
'/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt': No such file or directory

(vimprobable2:28016): GLib-Net-WARNING **: couldn't load TLS file database: 
Failed to open file '/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt': No such file or 
directory

(vimprobable2:28016): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion 
`G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

and then dumped core.

The RANDR warning is usually harmless (just because of the VNC). No
idea about the others. The backtrace of the core dump is unusable.

I've also tried starting it on my (remote) console in gdb, which gives me
26064 wiz       30    0  1276M   33M CPU/6      1:50 99.23% 99.02% vimprobable2

I guess it works better for you?
