It was a very nice for a first package, the only problem was your
unfamiliarity with our conventions.
I think there's very much work to with the package to be importable.

Maybe you could start looking at comments beginning with XXX? :-)
And an other idea: maybe you could use pax to install the files,
just add pax to USE_TOOLS and use pax -rw (more reliable than plain cp).

On the testing side, I have only tried on 5.0 but it worked very well.
