Hello everybody, I'd like to present you my first two pieces of work. First, "courierpassd" - password changing daemon using poppass protocol and courier-authlib frameword. As you might guess, it's a daemon that allows users change their password. It may seem useless on its own, but combined with a plugin for your favourite webmail it allows easy password change for virtual users on mailhosting systems. Squirrelmail is known to have such plugin. Roundcube webmail allows such plugin (not in the true sense of the word), but I know of none released. However I'm using one privately and considering deploying it on our mailhosting. When I get more spare time, I plan to polish the code a bit and release it. Second, "uptimed". The most wanted package in the whole universe. Keeps track of recent system uptimes and can print (via the command "uprecords") a nice table with top N uptimes, position of current uptime and time remaining for current uptime to become number 1. I have it installed on all of my (not only) NetBSD systems. You just type "uprecords" and know exactly what OS releases crashed often ;-) Corrections welcome, critique as well. Happy hacking Joe
