Please review wip/hpoj.
I am glad to announce hpoj driver which can make access for most
Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet, PSC, LaserJet, and PhotoSmart printer
multi-function peripherals (MFPs) is working well on my NetBSD 2.0
I can print using cups and scan with xsane.
The only way to run the printer must be using ugen driver
I had comment this line in the kernel config:
ulpt* at uhub? port ? configuration ? interface ?
and if your printer have a port for memory card comment also:
umass* at uhub? port ? configuration ? interface ?
But this line is useful for usb key. To resolve this, I force the
kernel to use umass
only at uhub3 port 5, like:
umass0 at uhub3 port 5 configuration 1 interface 0
If you have better solutions, I'm new on NetBSD :-)
There's this old saying: "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach
a man to fish, feed him for life."
