I've just had enough glimpse on it to find that some modules use pretty old C-code which has assumptions, e.g. a certain SIZEOF_INT. I don't have amd64 to look further, but FreeBSD has them commented out too. _ctypes.so should work though, please review new PLIST.common and patch-ad.
