Greetings everyone (especially Thomas, in this case),
the http://pkgsrc-wip.sf.net/ page says, that after importing
packages to pkgsrc-wip I should edit top-level Makefile and add the new
packages directories to the list of all subdirectories. What a pity I
have no rights for commiting the revised Makefile.
What is the current practice? Should I ask someone to do this for me
or should I bug (probably) Thomas to allow everyone update it? Anyway it
should work as documented on pkgsrc-wip homepage. So someone (again
probably Thomas :) ) please either change the part saying:
vi Makefile (add "SUBDIR+= newpkg")
cvs commit Makefile
or fix it, so new package directories can be registered correctly.
(Packages affected are wip/courierpassd and wip/uptimed for me).
Keep up the good work,
Joe
