I've recently decided to give a go at putting one of my NetBSD boxen 
into duty as a multimedia PC for my TV.  NetBSD is pretty badly prepared 
in this area, but I don't want to give up my 3.0 box, so it will have to 
do double duty (instead of switching to linux).

Freevo looks interesting, and I'm going to start playing with it.

wip/freevo and wip/py-mmpython (depends) are outdated and seem to be 
without mainainer.  Is anyone currently working with or using these 
packages?  If so, I'd like to chat with you about it before I start 
fiddling with these two packages, especially because I have no python 
experience.
