take over maintainership

hi!

dotz%irc.pl@localhost - the current maintainer of a "few" pkgs i use frequently 
-
wrote me that he isn't working on pkgsrc anymore.
so i would like to take over the maintainership of a some simple pkgs 
like py-nevow, py-ipython (both in pkgsrc-wip) and py-twisted.

i already have updated versions of py-nevow and py-ipython and i have 
pkgsrc-wip commit access. can i just commit the changes, or do i have to 
ask someone for permission?
