Sorry but... _why_? Why do you have the need to keep an extra package
that will be, ~95% of the time, exactly the same as the one found
in pkgsrc? Well, even now it is not the same, because it's already
out of sync due to several cleanups done in pkgsrc. It is useless to
do the same work twice in two different places.
Why don't you want to provide updates in the form of a diff using
send-pr? This just makes updating the package in pkgsrc more
difficult...
