NeoVim is broken on MacOS

Hi,
I'm using pkgsrc on MacOS using mnx. (pkgsrc.smartos.org/install-on-macos/)
I've noticed that NeoVim throws an error when trying to load some files;

I'm also using the exact same config on other (Linux) computers and I have no issues. Running `nvim --clean` also doesn't solve the issue.
