Just following up here in case anyone is tracking this by thread:

- Greg Troxel ran up a starting pkgsrc-wip entry (without per-OS sqlite code)
- Marcin Gondek completed the package and committed to pkgsrc

Neither wanted the bounty, but Marcin suggested donating the $50
directly to pkgsrc, which I did

... and on Sunday I ran up a test gatus instance on a NetBSD vm for
monitoring some on-site networking kit, and it wasn't half bad :)

Can definitely recommend for a lightweight tool for monitoring remote
instances, with a single text config file, optional sqlite
persistence, and some quite nice flexibility
