I would concur with this; pretty much everybody I know of that was a
historical user of yt-dl now uses yt-dlp, and I know of no functionality
that isn't present now in -dlp. -dl is ripe for deletion.
(I have found myself wondering if one of the JS runtimes will become
required for yt-dlp at some point and if it'd merit splitting the
package up for -js and non-js versions. I'd suggest defaulting to
quickjs if it does become mandatory, FWIW - but this is getting far
afield of the original point.)
