vim fails to build under Cygwin on XP

Hello, I am running Cygwin on a Windows XP box with pkgsrc stable. Most 
packages I've tried build just fine, but I am unable to build vim 
(specifically, vim-share) at all:

...
configure: updating cache auto/config.cache
configure: creating auto/config.status
config.status: creating auto/config.mk
config.status: creating auto/config.h
===> Building for vim-share-9.2.0357
bmake: don't know how to make vim. Stop

bmake: stopped making "vim" in 
/usr/pkgsrc/editors/vim-share/work/vim-9.2.0357/src
*** Error code 2

Stop.
bmake[1]: stopped making "install" in /usr/pkgsrc/editors/vim-share
*** Error code 1

Stop.
bmake: stopped making "install" in /usr/pkgsrc/editors/vim-share

Does anyone have any tips? I would like to be able to build and install 
vim on here, if possible.
