Uninstall, no, but recompile yes.
If you are building all your own packages from source, then what I
suggest is
cvs up -r pkgsrc-2026Q1
make backups, one more than you think you need ;-)
and then either
pkg_rolling-replace
choose one of pkgbob or pbulk, and build all the packages you need
(one of the above, on a dedicated build machine)

but realize that there is some cruft, and there is no pointer to the
(very new still) pkgbob.
