Hi,

I had this problem before christmas and bisected it. It started with
the update from meson-1.9.1 to meson-1.9.2. But it is no longer
reproducable with meson-1.10.0 that is in pkgsrc-current.
I'm not sure if this update is eligible for a pullup to the branch.
Please try with devel/meson from HEAD and let us know how it goes.
