Normally yes, but currently we are in a freeze in preparation for the 
2025Q4 release.

If you would like to contribute, you can get an account for pkgsrc-wip 
(https://www.pkgsrc.org/wip/) and create an updated package there. Then 
you can simply ask for it to be moved.

If not, that's fine too. We can update it in January.
