users of erlang or ejabberd?

Does anybody use erlang-* or ejabberd? I'm asking because I don't
perceive any users and am thus inclined to maintain ejabberd as "if it
works for me it's good enough". I think it's more important for it to
be up-to-date than to support some theoretical unusual usage.

I have recently updated a bunch of erlang packages to the version
required by ejabberd 24.05, when they were behind. The ones I updated
were just a few micros behind, with a few having minor PLIST changes.

Except redis, which is a much harder update because it is woefully
behind. I have therefore disabled redis in the pending 25.04 ejabberd
update. Speak up if you use ejabberd/redis (I don't know what that
would do) and would like to update erlang-redis from 1.2.0 to 1.7.0,
changing to the continuation fork (link in Makefile). Otherwise I'll
presume there are zero users.

I have ejabberd 25.04 building and am going to test it; it starts up and
runs as a fresh install. I intend to commit it if it works for me (with
no sql database). Speak up if you use ejabberd and are willing to test
the update.
