I will have to see how things go in the future. I am now thinking my
issue is with lintpkgsrc.
I do think I have PKGSRC defined. I should set it up for
/links/pkgsrc, so it follows my changes.

After this conversation so far, I think in my world I should be setting
PKGSRCDIR to my /links/pkgsrc value.
