Anyone able to check something on mariadb1011-server 10.11.8?

I'm seeing an odd issue with mariadb1011-server 10.11.8 on
NetBSD-10/amd64 boxes and wondered if anyone had a moment to try to
reproduce to confirm whether its something specific to my environment.

You would just need to have a version of pkgsrc recent enough to have
databases/mariadb-server 10.11.8 or later. You do not need any
database data.

When running
  /etc/rc.d/mariadb onestart && /etc/rc.d/mariadb onestop
I'm seeing the stop hang indefinitely, need to be killed, and (if
there is a any data in the database) quite often also corrupt the
database... which is obviously less than ideal

Reverting to 10.11.87 but keeping everything else current from pkgsrc
avoids the issue
