you use the default flite package from the official web site, Yasr will be unable to stop and
restart speech on demand, rendering it pretty much unusable.  There are other patches, as well,
for both Eflite and Yasr, original files are in the .fcs files in the .tar.gz file, so it
should be pretty easy to build patch files for the pkg sources.
