Re: Trouble with pkgsrc

So I am new to netbsd in this day and age, but it occurs to me.

Why not include pkgin as part of the stuff on the install image if that is the case?

I appreciate all of the quick help, advice, and workarounds.  I haven't been able to use them though as NetBSD is giving UVM faults (on ARM) shortly after booting now pretty consistently.  I'll have to figure out
how and where to report that and hang on in the meanwhile.

Thanks

The workaround, for now, is to simply use `http://' instead of
`https://'.
Ideally, you install pkgin over http, then use pkgin for installing
the rest from binary packages. It does proper HTTPS, better dependency
resolution and more.
