It turns out I have been running firefox with rust 1.59.0 on netbsd-9 amd64 already, because I left rust installed from wip and have been doing pkg_rr. My versions and build dates: -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 12390 Mar 21 18:22 rust-1.59.0 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 5011 Apr 13 20:29 librsvg-2.52.8 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 4795 Apr 13 23:32 firefox-98.0.2 Firefox is having some occasional freezes where loading page will result in a blank screen with no redrawing, but no process apparently chewing CPU. Killing the main process and restarting it, and usually not adding the new troublesome tab, has been my workaround. But I don't have any reason to think this is related to the newer rust version.
