Has anybody been able to use aria2c to make fetch?

Tried this on both Linux and NetBSD 9.2:

$ which aria2c
/usr/pkg/bin/aria2c
$ grep FETCH /usr/pkg/etc/mk.conf
FETCH_USING?= custom
FETCH_CMD=/usr/pkg/bin/aria2c

But it will spit a lot of errors. Before I post all the possible
errors, is aria2c a good tool for the FETCH job? Has anybody been able
to use it properly?
