I was using a custom kernel configuration, commenting out many of the lines for SCSI cards no longer used, and Ethernet adapters not in use, but I also compiled the GENERIC kernel.

My custom kernel config seemes not to differ from the GENERIC in lines related to memory.

But Seamonkey runs, apparently so does Otter Browser.

I still can't get the weekly ad, just a blank space, for www.valumarket.com , either with Seamonkey or Otter.

I also built and installed lynx and elinks (text-mode browsers, no graphics), Netsurf (lery limited in its capabilities), Midori (spinning circle but didn't load web page), vimb (just blank page, no hint of what was supposed to be there).

I was thinking about trying to build and install Qutebrowser. I would also like emulators/qemu.

Tom
