After the release of the last beta version, build-21, in July 2020, Widelands has switched to a new versioning scheme, now using semantic versioning with a major and a minor version.
The source code for release 1.0 as well as the full release statement can be found under the following link: https://github.com/widelands/widelands/releases/tag/v1.0
We would greatly appreciate it if the new version was picked up into the repositories of the various Linux distributions.
