wip/bkchem errors

Trying to use wip/bkchem.

Please advise how to go about fixing these problems.

- The binary created in /usr/pkg/bin does not get created with execute
  permission. How to fix this?

- There is following run time error:

ImportError: /usr/pkg/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/_tkinter.so: Undefined PLT
symbol "_PyAnyInt_Check" (symnum = 176)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Such errors are also noticed for a few other packages. Hopefully solving
this one will help solve others also.
