Works for me, netbsd-8 amd64.  You didn't mention OS/version --- I am
guessing netbsd-current...

There may or may not be a separate issue.  For a long time (starting in
NetBSD 6), memtestplus would crash in multicore mode.  maya@ added a
patch about a year ago but I have not gotten around to clear testing.
