pkgsrc-2018Q2 packages for illumos now available



Hi all,

I'm pleased to announce that the pkgsrc-2018Q2 binary package sets for
illumos are now available.  As always you can install pkgsrc on any
illumos distribution using the instructions here:

Thanks to efforts from the NetBSD developers, this release includes a
number of updates to the available desktop environment, including Mate
1.20, Firefox 61, Darktable, and others as shown in this example
screenshot running pkgsrc on Tribblix:

SmartOS users should use the new 18.2.0 images via imgadm(1M) due to
be released shortly.

Changes since pkgsrc-2018Q1:

 - Number of binary packages available:

 - Infrastructure changes:

   - pkgin has received a large number of changes to improve reliability
     and performance, especially during upgrades.

   - Default package versions have been bumped for PHP (7.1, previously
     5.6), Ruby (2.4, previously 2.3), and Emacs (26, previously 25).

 - Commit stats since 2018Q1:

   - 181 packages added
   - 15 packages removed
   - 1,995 package updates (to 1,414 unique packages)
   - 4,225 commits from 70 contributors
