Has anyone tried this game lately?

With latest pkgsrc install, the game displays its initial board state,
but as soon as you try to start a game it terminates with a rather
terse "Abort" message.

:)

It's only a game, so obviously the issue is non-critical, but I was
wondering if anyone else has seen this?
