I don't like to only complain about things, so I'd like to report that the current incarnation of misc/calibre on the stable pkgsrc branch has much improved for me. I can actually read books again with it. This may be related to the fact that I rebuilt everything with the same g++ compiler this time around (gcc 4.9), which would result in a lower risk that ABI-incompatible C++ libraries get linked together. It's not completely allright though. ebook-reader still sometimes crashes "randomly". And it seems to happen reliably for me when I select some text and then click into the selected area. But, at least it is pretty usable again! Hooray! -Olaf. -- ___ Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert -- Wayland: Those who don't understand X \X/ rhialto/at/falu.nl -- are condemned to reinvent it. Poorly.
