Re: circular dependency?

I've been lately running 'make test'; quite a few packages have
sensible test suites. Occasionally one finds strange regressions -
e.g. rust 1.23.0 'make test' fails miserably, whereas one previous
version (perhaps 1.22.1nb2) ran overnight and had a great deal of
success passes.
