I also have in /etc/mk.conf PKGSRC_USE_SSP=NO and PKGSRC_USE_FORTIFY=NO, all in all the worst security practices... But managed to build rust-1.21nb2 yesterday, on amd64 current, though. Took me more than a day plus another half day for 'make test'.
