Martin, perl packages can be built with :PERL5LIB=/usr/pkg/lib/perl5/5.26.0/x86_64-netbsd-thread-multi LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/pkg/lib/perl5/5.26.0/x86_64-netbsd-thread-multi/CORE pkg_rolling-replace -suv
I suppose -8 is affected by the bug you have seen in -current but I'm unable to reboot my server now.
