Build failure for graphics/glew

With pkgsrc up-to-date, I'm getting the following errors:

gcc -DGLEW_NO_GLU -O2  -Wall -W -Iinclude -I/usr/X11R7/include -fPIC  -o tmp/netbsd/default/shared/visualinfo.o -c src/visualinfo.c

gcc: error: libGLEW.so.1.13: No such file or directory
gcc: error: unrecognized command line option '-soname'

*** Error code 2


I've also verified that I get the same error messages if I define 
MAKE_JOBS_SAFE=no
