Mark,

I have it working now - I think I caused a problem when I created a 
gstconfig.h file in /usr/pkg/include/gstreamer-1.0/gst when the error showed 
up first, in an attempt to fix it.

I forgot to remove that file after the update which brought in the patch and I 
think that confused the build. It now compiles and installs fine. Sorry for 
the noise...
