lang/clang build problem?
Hello,
I needed doxygen on a development system and as a dependency it
started building lang/clang. I started the build last week before
heading home, and when I got in to the office today the system was
complaining about the disk being full.
The build of "doxygen" looked to have ended up in some kind of loop
so I interrupted it.
Some quick "du -hs *" digging led me to find that the work directory
in devel/clang was 16GB and had filled up the drive. Unfortunately this
system is running some tests against an embedded system, and I needed
/var/log/messages, so I didn't have time to investigate further. I ran
"make clean" and will try rebuilding it later and check exactly where it
started going wrong. Until then; has anyone else seen this?
For the sake of my own sanity, I'm assuming it ended up in an
infinite loop, rather than clang nowadays requiring more than 16GB of
storage space to build. :)
NetBSD-7/amd64 & pkgsrc-current
/Jan
