pkgsrc on Raspbian

I was interested in building and tweaking sources of omxplayer on
Raspberry Pi 2.

I'd have preferred pkgsrc on NetBSD for this purpose, though NetBSD
doesn't as yet look as usable on pi 2 as I need it to be. (Have several
threads on this.)

Wondering how well would pkgsrc work on this device on Raspbian, whether
anyone has succeeded in building omxplayer on Raspbian using pkgsrc...
