python setup utils problems
There appear to be problems with Python setup utils now
While building time/py-iso8601
First:
The std
from distutils import setup
doesn't work and .core has to be specified:
from distutils.core import setup
so setup isn't getting connected properly
(setuptools.setup gets the same errors as below)
Second:
when setup calls pkg_resources.parse_map() the data is always empty:
gdata 2.0.18 <class 'pkg_resources.EntryPoint'> <generator object _get_metadata at 0x7f7ff7274050>
None []
numpy 1.8.0 <class 'pkg_resources.EntryPoint'> <generator object _get_metadata at 0x7f7ff7274050>
