pkgin oddity

client# pkgin update
pkg_summary.gz                      100%  310KB 309.6KB/s 309.6KB/s   00:00    
pkgin: inflate failed

pointing at pkg_summary.gz file created by pkg_comp. Just in case, the same
is true with one created with

server# cd /usr/pkgsrc/packages/All/
server# pkg_info -X *.tgz > pkg_summary
server# gzip pkg_summary

However if I use bzip2 instead, pkgin works.

server# gunzip pkg_summary.gz 
server# bzip2 pkg_summary 

client# pkgin update
database for ftp://barra.inf.phy.cam.ac.uk/packages/All is up-to-date
