AFAICT that bug isn't fixed on either branch or current.

However, if I force the use of gnu readline I get command history and
history editing.

But with the inclusion of gnu readline the graphics window doesn't seem
to notice mouse events at all.

The wxt terminal spins with SIGINT blocked and not drawing anything.

Using 4.6.1 fixes the history problem with bsd readline for me.

Alas the mouse problems in the x11 terminal persist and wxt is still spinning.
