Hello,because it was not possible to compile the current version of XORP at netbsd, I asked the XORP developer for help.
After some weeks, now you can compile the current git version, but it does not run stable. The developer told me the following:
"I fixed some more crashes, but xorp still fails to start because it fails some mcast system calls. I have no idea why those fail, so someone with some bsd experience may need to add some debugging to the kernel to figure out why the call fails."
Because I have no experience in kernel coding, I can't help him in any way. So I will give up the try to update the XORP package in pkgsrc.
