help with port

Hello.

I really like Slash'EM and I use pkgsrc on more systems.
I tried porting it in the past, but it was not accepted.

It's a piece of software that is super-portable, but doesn't lend itself 
well to pkgsrc infrastructure.
Could you give me some hand-holding please on updating my first attempt 
to conform better?

I would like to try submitting it again.
