configure: error: invalid option: --without-libintl-prefix

A new release of VICE is just out and I'm working on updating the pkgsrc
entry. However I'm running into a prolem:

.../pkgsrc/emulators/vice$ make configure
=> Bootstrap dependency digest>=20010302: found digest-20080510

=> Replacing install-sh with pkgsrc version
configure: error: invalid option: --without-libintl-prefix
*** Error code 1

Where is this option given to configure? I don't want it since it
obviously breaks configure.
