They are not necessarily linked.
In my eyes, GTK1 is obsolete software and thus is gdk-pixbuf, so I
just took the availability of gdk-pixbuf-2.22.0 as a stimulation to
start the discussion about removing gdk-pixbuf-0.22.0.
Of course, it's not necessarily linked.

Well, they are for GTK1 (see my opinion above)... but since you say
below that they are still actively used, we'll just keep them (pkgsrc
only has www/galway and cad/gwave using them).
