You know, testing generally doesn't work that way. The Solaris issue
*was* tracked down and fixed at some point. I am not sure if it was
reintroduced with the recent export changes or not. Generally disabling
the unit tests doesn't help in fixing the issue, especially in the
situation where it is unclear that it still exists.
