Re: bad performance with xf86-video-intel-2.7.0

Dear All,

I also experienced bad performance after upgrading to
xf86-video-intel-2.7.1.

This is on a Thinkpad X61 (965GM).

Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"

resulted in the X server terminating immediately due to an error
i915drm0 being called without arguments (recalling from memory).

I tried downgrading to libdrm-2.3.1 and xf86-video-intel-2.4.3, but
ended up downgrading to libdrm-2.3.0 and xf86-video-intel-2.4.3,
because libdrm-2.3.1 did not install xf86mm.h, which
xf86-video-intel-2.4.3 needed to build.

After the downgrade X is nicely speedy again.

Best regards,

Marko
