Problem with dovecot 1.1.14

All,

With a newly installed 5.0 on my i386 machine I tried updating to  
dovecot 1.1.14 from 1.1.13.  The build went fine and the package  
installed but I was unable to to access either the imap or pop3  
servers.  I get the following error:

Falling back to 1.1.13 which works fine...

Anybody have any thoughts?
